The Last Enemy

They say death is the last enemy to be vanquished. I say FEAR is the last enemy.

Show me a man or woman who has expelled fear in all its guises from their life, and I will show you a person free as a bird — soaring high, gliding joyfully with the currents.

Fear causes paralysis. It shrinks the life down to what feels manageable, what feels safe, what can be controlled. And in doing so, it robs us of the very thing we were made for.

Freedom energises. It opens. It expands. It calls forth the truest version of who you are.

The great enemy is not circumstance. It is not other people. It is not even death. It is the fear that prevents you from fully living before you get there.

Perfect love casts out fear. Not willpower. Not discipline. Not self-improvement. Love — the kind that holds you completely, sees you fully, and finds nothing in you that disqualifies you from belonging.

Love is our calling. Love is our destiny. Love is our truest essence.

When fear finally meets Love, it has nowhere left to stand.
