Knowing God

If God is spirit, then God is beyond the reach of ego and the five senses. I cannot know God in the conventional way of knowing. The only true knowing of God is the experience of God unveiled in me as God.

Love Is a Death Sentence

This journey started with a strong sense of myself. What I found was a death sentence. The cross is always the path to resurrection.

Finding Your Rhythm

Return to me, child. Return to your centre. Move at your own determined pace — from the inside out, not outside in.

True Peace

The natural mind wants all the facts aligned before resting in peace. But the peace I am after does not require the storm to stop before it knows that all is well.

The Ego Cannot Be Reformed

The ego cannot be reformed. It can only be understood — and then, gently, denied. Not through suppression. Through recognition. Through no longer treating its voice as the final word.

Truth Known, Not Spoken

I have come to see the futility of arguments and debate. Beauty is unveiled in silence, not in the multitude of words. Truth is known — unspoken, in the heart.

Life in the Flow

Miracles, not magic. Grace, not works. Spirit, not might. Three anchors for a life lived from the inside out.

What If?

What if I am exactly who I am meant to be? What if I am doing exactly what I am meant to do? All stress, all striving, stems from a single source: the failure to believe the statements above.

It Is the Means That Matters

We have been taught to fix our eyes on the end. The goal. The destination. The outcome. The arrival. We measure our lives by what we achieve, what we accumulate, what we finally become. The end is the thing, we are told. Everything else is merely the road to get there. But what if the […]

Consciousness is Primary. But Not Ultimate.

There is a growing consensus in contemplative and philosophical circles that Consciousness is the ground of all reality — the ultimate, the all, the One. It is a compelling framework. And it is almost right. Almost. Consciousness is real. Profoundly real. It is the intelligent substance in which all things appear — the field of […]

Hunger for Meaning

The ego needs success to thrive. The soul needs meaning. Richard Rohr These words did not teach me something new when I first encountered them. They confirmed something I had already discovered the hard way: the game is rigged. No quest, goal, or achievement ever fully delivers on its promise. Each success brings satisfaction — […]

You Are Not Afraid. You Experience Fear.

You are not afraid. You experience fear. You are not sad. You experience sadness. You are not angry. You experience anger. You are not traumatised. You experience trauma. You are not ashamed. You experience shame. This is not said to minimise what you are going through. The fear is real. The sadness is real. The anger and trauma and […]

Not All Classrooms Have Four Walls

From birth, we are enrolled in the University of Life. There is a hidden curriculum at work in every life. Most of us sense it at some point — that quiet awareness that the events unfolding around us are not random, that something is being taught even when no lesson was announced. When we begin […]

Impregnable — The Power of Stories

Narratives, once they take root, become strongholds. It matters little whether the foundation of a story is truth or falsehood. Once embedded, we begin aligning our perceptions and experiences with it, and it colours our entire reality. If I tell myself you are my enemy, nothing you say or do will register as genuine. Conversely, […]

The Meek Inherit the Earth

Meekness is almost universally misread as weakness. It is not. Meekness is power that has chosen restraint. It is inner strength guided by deeper wisdom rather than by impulse, ego, or the need to assert itself. The meek person is not the one who has nothing to offer — they are the one who has […]
