I no longer want to live with the old conditioned responses, feelings and perceptions.
Father —
The old man has served his purpose. He does not serve me anymore in the new light of what we now know together. It is time to lay him down. It is time to silence him.
He beats an old drum. Dances to an old rhythm. One we no longer believe in. One that never quite told the truth.
We know better now. We know Truth. And so the old man is well and truly redundant.
It is time to lay aside the false self — the self that was built from fear and conditioning and the long habit of performing. Time to put on the new: renewed in the image of Christ, in the light of what is actually true.
So help me, Father.
Amen.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. The old things passed away. Behold, new things have come.
