We pray not to tell God what he doesn’t know, nor do we pray to bend His will. The Father knows all things, including your needs and desires. We pray to take the load off our minds and to allow God to fill that space with his love, wisdom and presence. Let us be careful for nothing, except to be in perfect union with our First Love.

Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
